Yahoo Messenger 7 Webcam problem

Wim

Yesterday I managed to get my webcam through Yahoo Messenger 7 working.
Since last night, when starting my webcam, I keep on getting the
message: "Sorry, you appear to be behind a firewall and are currently
unable to use the Yahoo! Webcam service."

I did the following trials:
1. disabled my Windows XP SP2 Firewall,
2. disabled the Norton Antivirus 2005 Auto-protect, Internet work
protection and Yahoo Messenger protection and YPager is permitted
3. on Yahoo webcam test page, my webcam is there working perfectly
4. I did enable port 5100 on the network protection and changed the
registry (both according to instructions on Yahoo webcam help)
5. I alternated between network adsl and modem dial-up.

Dspt this, I still receive the same error when opening the webcam.
What can I do?

I forgot to say that:
1. I use a laptop with a built-in webcam (quite nice one)
2. Sightspeed does not seem to give any problem (though I still have to
check a real video call)
3. I haven't tested Windows Messenger Webcam yet, no one of my friends
who has installed that.

I have exactly the same problem.
I got the messages with Zone Alarm firewall.
I tried to use Yahoo Messenger by replacing my firewall by the one
provided with Windows XP SP2, but the message is the same.
Reading on the web that Yahoo Messenger needs to establish a tcp/ip
connexion on
Protocol: TCP
Server: webcam.yahoo.com
Port: 5100
I added the rule for my firewall, but normally, I get a warning when
there is a first attempt to establish a forbidden connection, and I got
nothing.
I successfully passed the test proposed on the web by yahoo, to see if
the webcam is ok to be used in conjonctuion with Yahoo messenger !!
