XP's auto resizing of pics - how to disable?

Hi, I grow weary of XP's "helpful" auto-resizing of
pictures so they fit the window I'm viewing them in while
browsing the web. Sometimes it takes 15-30 seconds for
the resize button to appear in the lower left of the
picture & I tend to lose patience. Is there any way to
turn this function off? I assume it's an XP problem
since my other computer with Win2K & same version of IE
doesn't do it.

Thanks in advance.

==================================
Try this...

Open an IE window and go to...Tools /
Internet Options / Advanced tab...

Uncheck...Enable Automatic Image Resizing...
Uncheck...Enable Image Toolbar...
