Dear all

When I connect my fathers camera to XP the wizard does it's stuff up to
the point of copying the pics over then says unable to copy and suggests
skipping each photo as it comes up. WHy may this be? Any help gratefully
receive.

- device full? check if you've got sufficient space left empty on the
target disk
- no right to write? check if you did not specify a target directory for
which you do not have permissions to write. this could be any system
directory within the "windows" tree or the root directory of your boot
device, usually "C:", or any write-locked shared directory on a local
network drive.

just wild guessing,

the wizard will not work with certain formats. Are the camera images in jpg,
avi?
did the camera come with it's own software? If the camera takes RAW files
the wizard does not recognize the format. You need a third party software to
open them.
