XP to 2K: connecting but can't find server

I have XP and I'm trying to connect with and use files
from a computer with 2000. The dial-up connection is
being made, but my computer can't seem to find hers once
it is connected. It worked on my old computer, which had
Windows 98, so it must be an XP issue. I've tried
everything I can think of, so any advice would be
appreciated. Thanks

I am facing very similar problems using NetMeeting. I am
connecting to a VPN from an XP Pro and then trying to
connect to a Win 2000 system. The NetMeeting software on
XP finds a 2000 system running Remote Desktop Sharing,
asks for a user/password/domain and then (after a long
time) says the remote system "refused to accept the
call". This worked fine before I upgraded from Win Me to
Win XP Pro. Is there any way to find out more
information on where the true failure is in either of
these cases???
