xp startup

My xp startup..

i am having a problem.I would like to know the way to customize my startup.

when i start my Toshiba computer,it shows "toshiba"window before the" Window XP" window
when in "window xp"windows,i find that it turned into a blank screen for sometime before it enter
the "welcome screen"

may i know anyway to configure it?

PLZ HELP..THANK YOU VERY MUCH... ...

Hi,

The Toshiba screen you see is the BIOS splash screen. You may find an option
in the BIOS to disable it. When the screen is being displayed, press the
appropriate key (check your user-manual to see how to enter the BIOS) and
enter the BIOS setup program. Once in the BIOS, you may look for an option
similar to "Disable splash screen" or so.

The momentary 'black' screen is also normal before the welcome screen. If it
is a bit too long, you may consider to download and instal the latest
drivers for your video adapter.
