Does anyone know the name of the song that is playing when
XP is starting up to be configured for the first time? I
sounds like it might be "Enigma".

The file is called Title.wma and is in the C:\WINDOWS\system32\oobe\images
folder

My understanding is that it's a song Microsoft had made.

It's on your hard drive and it's called "title.wma"
Look for it using search or try this directory:
c:\windows\system32\oobe\images

I agree, it's a great ambient song.

No.
The theme from Seinfeld or the Peanuts/Snoopy theme. Or
the theme from NBC Sunday Morning would be better.
Even the PBS Karl Haas 'Adventures in good music' is great
theme. I have all these and vary every few days.

Please. Can you provide a link to download those sounds?

I've had these for so long I did not keep the addresses.
Perhaps you could try at google.com and search for words
like "seinfeld show theme download". Also check
the 'source' on website for possible link to the sounds.

No worries I thought you might still have the addresses to save me
searching. :)
