Sunny Afternoon - The Kinks

When in London last week my missus and I went to the fairly new musical about the Kinks. Great fun it was too. It was simply the story of their beginnings and time up till the release of Waterloo Sunset - no silly made up story devised to include the music.

The amazing thing was that the actors did all the singing and played all the instruments too. Quite an achievement as they did manage to sound like the original artists. All the well known songs with a finale of Lola had everyone cheering.

N.B. You have to be a certain age to take the time to go to a Kinks musical.

That sounds like a really good good show Niv, glad to hear that you and Mrs Nivrip enjoyed it. I like the Kinks too, and feel that their music has aged rather well.
