XP SP2 - Explorer Freezes when displaying avi files in Thumbnail mode

Hey,
I recently 'upgraded' to SP2 and a big problem is that I have a lot of
digital photos mixed in with video that i took in the same folders and I
used to view them all easily with thumbnail mode in windows explorer, BUT
after installing SP2 whenever i open any folder that has a movie in it while
in thumbnail view mode, explorer freezes up and stops responding. I have to
ctrl alt del the sucker and close it manually. I dont even have time to
change it from thumbnail mode to any other viewing mode before it freezes.
This is pretty stupid, so any help remedying the problem would be excellent.
Thanks,
Aaron

Well - bad news. I tried what it says to do in that google group thing, but
it still freezes and pops up a window saying Dr watson debugger has crashed
etc =\

Hi

If you have DivX installed, uninstall it and see if it helps...

Instead of uninstalling it I downloaded the newest version and it seems to
work now - Thanks =)
