Xp SP2 beta version

Hello,

I am looking at trying to get the xp sp2 beta version to test our
application with. Someone suggested applying to the beta site which I have
but haven't recevied any information back (this was about 2 weeks ago).
Where can I get the beta version to test with? Thanks in advance.

Jake,

Be warned that if you start with RC1 you may get hellish complications with
Windows Update

Latest estimates are sometime this summer. Perhaps by the end of
June.

Thanks guys,

I got the download. I was thinking about testing this on a virtual pc of
xp and run our code from there. This way I don't screw up my machine :) Any
thoughts on this?

Or make a volume image (I use Ghost). If the update has problems restore
the image.
Build 2055 was very stable. So far, build 2096 (aka SP2 RC1) is stable.

There is now a preview version available, of the RC1 build. But warning
- do not put it on a production system without a means of restoring that
(Drive Image; ghost etc), so you can restore once the final is out,
before installing that. BETA may well stands for 'Brings Errors to All'

I like SP2! It like the firewall and I also like the pop-up blocking.
Overall as far as I can see so far...I like it!

Yes, I am aware of that fact. It is installed on my Test Box, and not any
production boxes.
