Microsoft Beta Account Terms and Cond.

Hi all

My company is trying to get a 'Microsoft Beta Account' as our Client is already a beta user, yet we are advised to be a beta user as well. However, may I know how this beta program works? Let say we already apply for it and being approved, are we approved to be beta user for specific program only? and what happen if the program is already finished (like SP2 which is about to end soon), are we still in the program and wait for new program to come in or do we need to re-apply again

I am required to obtain XP SP2 with all the builds actually, but I think now is almost futile already since MR and retail version is approaching. Any other way to obtain Microsoft product with the incremental builds (like XP SP2 build XXXX) other than becoming beta tester

Another question, does TechNet only provide beta milestone releases like MSDN

THanks in advance for any help

Hi Kelly

Yup, I might be wrong, but I dont know where to look again. However, I just want to know from existing beta user, how is the beta account being carried out. Is it per-program or is it once we become a beta user our account is there

Thanks in advance

It depends. I can only answer for myself, not your client or anyone else.
Check within the link I supplied and good luck!
