whenever I start my computer, it shuts down without any
warning. Xp does not load at all. I don't know what's
going on. anyone have this problem or know how to fix it?
I've already gone to safe mode and restarted under the
last known good configuration. But windows still shuts down

Return to Safe Mode, check the Error Log for errors that correspond to when
this happens. Go to Safe Mode, open Control Panel, open Administrator
Tools, open Event Viewer, go to the various sections, look for errors that
correspond, select them, double click the error, the information contained
within may give a clue as to the source of the issue. If it doesn't make
sense to you, the third button down in the error dialog box will copy the
information to the clipboard, you can then paste it into a message and
perhaps we can figure out what's going on.
