Try ripping the CDs to WMA or MP3 format with Windows
Media Player, then use those WMA files to record an Audio
CD in Windows Media Player. Or you could use another
program to rip them to wav (if supported by the program)
Also, back in the days of Windows 95 there was a CDFS.vxd
(I think that's the name of the file) replacement
available on the internet which when you explored an
audio CD, the files showed up as .wav files which you
could use as you would a regular wave file.
There may be an XP version of this file floating around,
or the old win95 one might work.

IF you have Easy CD Creator Plus, you might want to try
the following (however, please note that I have Windows 98
and it works on that operating system; don't know if it
will work on other Windows operating systems):
Converting a .wav file to a .cda file with Easy CD Writer
Plus:

Left click Start.
Left click Programs.
Put your mouse on Adaptec Easy CD Creator.
From the pull down menu, left click Easy CD Creator.

The Easy CD Creator Wizard will come up
Left click Cancel.
This will bring up the "Explorer" screen.

Make sure the Audio CD Layout tab, located below your
icons on your tool bar is selected.

Go to the drive, and file folder, where your wav file is
that you want to copy.
Place your mouse on top of the wav file you want to copy
to your cd.
Left click on the wav file to highlight it and drag your
wav file to the bottom "ha1f of the screen.

Place your cd in your CD-ROM drive and close the door.

Left click the little red dot icon at the top of the Easy
CD Creator screen on your monitor screen.

The CD Creation Set Up screen will appear on your monitor
screen.
Make sure you have left clicked, under Options, Test and
Create CD.
Left click OK.

The CD Creation Process screen will appear on your monitor
screen.

The Program will go through the Testing Phase:
Reading
Preparing to write the track
Writing block ___ of ___ to the disk
Writing the Table of Contents

The Program will go through the Recording Phase:
Reading
Preparing to write the tract
Writing block ___ of ___to the disk
Writing the Table of Contents (NOTE: This will take a long
time!)

If the Recording Phase has been successful, the Program
will eject your cd from your CD-ROM drive and you will see
the CD created successfully on your monitor screen.

Do NOT remove the CD from your CD-ROM drive.
Close your CD-ROM drive.

If you minimize the Program, you can actually go into
Windows Explorer, left click on your and see that the
Program has saved your .wav file as: Track01.cda

Close Windows Explorer and maximize the Program.

On your Easy CD Creator screen, on the left side of
the "Explorer" screen, left click your CD-ROM drive. This
may take a few seconds to load.

On the right side of your CD Creator screen, left click to
highlight the file.
Right click and left click Rename. Give your Track01 a
new file name.

This should work!
