XP Pro Urgrade

I installed an XP pro urgrade on my desktop then purchsed a laptop and tried
to use the same upgrade but it (obiovusly) won't let me, how do I remove the
activation from my desktop?

additional licenses for another computer or laptop by visiting the

I can not purchase an additional license as I do not live in the USA.
Can I remove the XP pro upgrade from my desktop and then activate it on my
laptop?
