xp pro installation problem

I got a Compaq Armada 4160T notebook. Today I just installed XP Pro in. During processing 3, my power outage went out and there was no back up battery. Then 15 minutes later, power came back, so I re-install Xp Pro again, and it start over again from Process 3.

Then once it's done, it reboot itself. Then it loads and said a Welcome screen with blue background

This stays like for hours and hours. I can move the mouse around, it's not freeze

Since I don't see the key to get into BIOS when it's start up
Any one out there know how to get into the BIOS on Compaq Armada 4160T notebook? I want to change the Boot to CD-ROm to see what it will happen or install back my old OS which is 2000

Plzzzzzz help.

Try doing a clean install, you will much rather have XP then 2000 way more
stable.

I try F10 & escape and it doesn't work
