XP Pro; installation limbo

HELP! I began a clean reformat of my other computer using a retail version
of XP Pro and found that the wrong product key was stuck to the cd case
(probably correct sticker was removed by the kids). I know I had this OS
registered with Microsoft before I began the reformat, but now am sitting
here in "digital limbo" (using my son's computer) and hoping there's a way I
can continue the installation of XP on my computer.
