my computer was loaded with viruses, trojan etc, and
so i'm reinstalling windows xp pro, but now the computer

a "no valid signature 800b0100 error" and almost every
time i reboot the screen goes completely black and
the pc does nothing. i have to remove power for 10
seconds to get the thing to boot again.
motherboard is a gigabyte 7vtxe f4 bios
processor is amd athlon 1200 mhz thunderbird
memory is crucial 256 ddr 2100
enermax power supply

Are you deleting the partition and recreating it during your reinstall? If
you are just reinstalling it over the old installation you aren't really
solving the problems of your viruses and spyware.

yeah, i was deleting the old partition and recreating a
new one every time, problem was...bad memory.
