Abit KV7 Motherboard won't install XP pro.

I bought a new Abit KV7 mobo ,AMD Athlon XP 2200+, 512 mb Crucial PC3200
400mhz ram ,heat sink, 400 Watts power supply.
I can not get xp to install. I get Stop errors . I look at the knowledgebase
and it implies the ram may be bad. Any Ideas..Stan

and you will get a lot of good quality help there.

In the interim you may want to download and run memtest86 from memtest86.com
and follow their instructions. It may be just a bios version issue, or some
bios timing issues.
