XP Pro English Japanese

Is it possible with XP PRO en version, switch to the
Japanese version and install and run Japanese based
programs?
Then is it possible to switch back to the English version
and run english based programs?

I have bought a computer with XP Home edition in Japanese,
because I need this operative system, but I need also to
run the English version. What do you suggest me to do?
Which kind of upgrades are possible, to make me possible
to work in an English and Japanese OS, switching between
them without get any problem?

Thank you in advance.

One cannot change the language version of Windows XP.
You must purchase the "Full English Version" of Windows XP,
reformat your drive and install it "clean". The alternative is to
create a dual-boot configuration which requires an available,
empty partition. You can purchase and use Partition Magic 8
(www.powerquest.com) to accomplish this.

If you have a desktop computer, or a notebook computer that
will accept a second hard drive, you can install a second hard
drive and install the "Full English Version" on it and end up
with a dual language boot configuration.
