XP Pro does not recognize 98se on network

We recently added a laptop with XP Pro to our network.
Its a small peer-to-peer network. The problem is that the
XP computer does not recognize 2 computers using 98se. I
have tried searching for both computers in the nwtwork
neighborhood but neither can be found. The strange part
is that both computers using 98se recognize the XP Pro
computer and can access its shared folder. Does anyone
know what I can do to get the XP pro computer to recognize
the 98se computers and their shared folders?

Thanks,
Tim

1. Permanently disable XP's built-in Internet Connection Firewall on
local area network connections -- it's for use only on a direct modem
connection to the Internet. Disable and un-install all other
firewalls while troubleshooting. Details here:

Windows XP Internet Connection Firewall

2. Use only one protocol for File and Printer Sharing. If the network
needs more than one protocol, unbind File and Printer Sharing from all
but one of them. Details here:

Windows XP Network Protocols

3. Make sure that NetBIOS over TCP/IP is enabled on all computers.
Details here:
