Hello,
I have two computers connected peer to peer. This is to
enable sharing of files, printers and internet
connection. One computer is working fine (Windows 98).
The other computer WAS working fine until it was recently
upgraded to Windows XP from Windows ME. Both computers
can use the Internet FINE. The 98 computer has lightning
fast connection to the XP computer. But the XP computer
has incredibly slow connection to the 98 computer. I
have tried a few "so called" fixes, but they don't work,
so I came here. I have searched the Internet, and this
appears to be a fairly common problem. Seems strange
that the upgraded computer is the one that is
experiencing the slowdown. Again both can use the
Internet just fine using a Belkin Cable/DSL Gateway
Router with 10/100 Network Switches.
There must be a fix to this problem. I appreciate any
advice.
