XP, MSDAC/DAO and Jet 4.0

I have several applications that use dao and jet for
their database management. I installed the latest and
greatest of these products MSDAC 2.8 and Jet 4.0 SP8.
Now none of my applications work properly. I looked and
can't find anywhere to rollback to the previous version.
Any ideas on how I can recover from this disaster?

Hi

Go back to a system restore point before the upgrade maybe?

If that is not an option, I would think for MDAC 2.8, the MDAC Rollback
functionality might work on WinXP:

For Jet 4.0 SP8, you might find it in the Add/Remove Programs control panel.

Must confess I've never had a problem with apps and upgraded msdac
MSDN used to have a downloadable Component Checker on their data access
pages to report on versions/ problems with a msdac install, afraid theyve
moved the url and I no longer have it.
