return, the programs don't execute. Windows Explorer
returns (at times) a mesages that reads "cannot
find.....`/n,/e,/c,:\. Word, Outlook, Quickbooks, Money
all execute well. I have scanned with new definations and
ran a registry clean utility.

Change your target path here:
Right click Windows Explorer/Properties and type this into the Target path:

Then try it again, repost.

path, period. What he is trying or wanting to set it to, I have no idea. I
only know that what he has it set to, isn't working.

What I use...
%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /n,/e,/select,C:\
It expands My Computer, but not any of the folders.
