XP Home & Norton Internet Security 2005

I installed the trial version of NIS 2005 on Win ME about 2 weeks ago.
Yesterday I upgraded to XP Home. Despite the messages indicating NIS might be
incompatible I left NIS on and proceeded with the upgrade which finished with
very few problems other than NIS isn't working now. I also have a problem
sending email out of Outlook or Outlook Express. I have learned that the
sending email problem can be attributed to the NIS email spamming feature.
The problem I have is I can't remove NIS now using Add/Remove Programs. I
know there are ways to completely remove, but I'm having a hard time finding
these on the Symantec sight. I'd lso like to know what a good Internet
Security or AntiVirus program for XP Home is.

Thanks for the reply. I actually had the same link sent to me by someone
else. The only problem is I have Norton Internet Security 2005, not just
Norton Antivirus. I need to remove the whole shot, not just the NAV. Any
ideas?
