XP-home ed: unwanted auto-run

I have a friend with XP-home - on start-up it runs an
unwanted application. How do I turn off this feature?

Roger,

Uninstall the application if you don't want.

The startup applications can be disabled using MSCONFIG. Click Start, Run and type "MSCONFIG". Goto the startup tab and uncheck the application.
