xp encounters problem opening

I installed a pop up guard and after shutting the computer
off when I try to restart it windows would try to start
then the screen would go black, after rebooting it 5
selections will appear to choose from to try to restart,
none of these work, windows will try to open and the
screen will go black and stay that way, help!!! MIKE

Next time install new ware AFTER you close your internet and other 29
running apps.

Screwed up didn't you?
Start your system in Safe Mod
Then go to: Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restor
to before the problem started, you can go back up to 90 days
