XP Embedded USB Boot 2.0 and multiple hardware support

Hi

I have two different embedded systems with similar hardware that I
wish to create a USB Boot device for.

I have created a SLD file with details for the both pieces of hardware
- by using retail Windows XP and using the same hdd disk in both
systems and configured all devices. I can use this SLD and create a
full Windows XPe image with components to run my application running
off a sata hdd. This image includes control panels etc.

I have now tried to create a Minlogon USB Boot device that I can
access the systems from for maintenance. So basically added
Minlogon, my SLD file and USB Boot 2.0 component, USB HID devices and
ACPI Power buton and created an image. (I have not included
components for hardware which I don't to use such as NIC, sound cards
and graphics cards.)

On the system that the USB device runs FBA on everything is okay. USB
keyboards and ACPI power button.

However when I boot the second system from the USB key I never get the
new hardware detected and USB keyboards and ACPI are not detected.
Even left it over night incase it took a while.

If I run FBA on the second computer I have the same issue on the first
system.

Is there a component that I need to add to minimal image for this auto
updating of hardware on the systems that have not run FBA?

Any suggestions / advice.

Cheers

David
