XP client to NT 4 Server - Logon Scripts

M

Michael

I have several Windows XP clients that log on to a
Windows NT server. They log on ok in every other respect,
and access shared drives etc on the NT box.
However, I have recently added another drive mapping to
the NT logon script associated with their logon which,
when tested from a Win 95 or 98 client, runs and maps
happily. It seems like the NT logon script is not running
when the XP client logs on, as the new drive mapping is
not being created on the XP machine.
Any ideas?
many thanks in advance
Michael

Have you tried running the script manually after logging on to see if
there are any XP/NT specific errors?

Was there any resolution on this?

I am having same exact problem (XP client logging into NT4 domain). Running
it manually from the netlogon share works fine. XP simply does not want to
run the script.
