xp and canon printers

Hello,

I'm trying to print as a domain user to a canon printer
that has a colorpass z650 rip attached to it. However,
everytime i try to print to the printer, I get:

Debug Assertion Failed!

Program: C:\program files\internet explorer\iexplore.exe
File: setvbuf.c
Line:54
Expression: str !=NULL

When I print as an administrator, i do not get this
message. However, the document still prints under the
domain user's account. And at times, the printers I have
installed disappear. My Print Spool service stops itself
regularly. Is this a driver issue?

How do I stop this message from appearing?

Thanks in Advance
Sam

Sam, I am getting very similar error messages.

We have a Canon IRC3200 Colour copier/network printer. Strangely,
though, some Domain Users are not getting errors while others are -
until we make them Admins.

The Program concerned is C:\windows\explorer.exe or
..\System32\Spool(something or other)

Did you have any luck with new drivers? We are running XP clients.

Pete
