XP 64 Drive Mapping

Hal

Hi,

I have 3 computers and just in the last week none of them are able to map
the XP64 //C$ share anymore. I've poked around and checked security and
can't find the reason. I increased virtual memory, but still get the
message "Not Enough Server Storage to Process this Command".

TIA,

Hal

Has there been a change to the WinXPx64 machine's firewall
configuration? Is the Server service running on the WinXPx64 machine?
Do the users logged into the 3 client machines have administrative
privileges to the WinXPx64 machine? If not, they won't be able to
connect to the hidden administrative share.

And, not that it's any of my business, but I can't help wondering why
you'd want to so completely compromise the security of the WinXPx64
machine. There may be a better, less unsafe way to accomplish your goals.

The firewall is off because I use a router. Server Service is started and
all users are admins.

I do this for file sync to other machines, docs, etc. If you can suggest
another way, I am open to your thoughts. The XP64 machine shows up as
disconnected on the other machines however it can get to other machines
and the net just fine. This problem just started a week ago aloo of a
sudden and is driving me nuts.
