dirve map problem

I got this message when I try to map a drive from explorer upon clicking
FINISH button
---------------------------
Windows
---------------------------
The mapped network drive could not be created because the following error
has occurred:

Not enough server storage is available to process this command.

---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
I also noticed that when I try to add user or group to shared folder it tend
not to find the object "x". x the user ID or a group I try to add access.
However everyone is acceptable.

what is wrong with my xp Pro, how do I fix it? windows repair with system
disk?

don't relish that time consuming task as the CD was pre sp2 and I would
have to apply all patches

I have increased the IRP size to 25. no effect.
It was not the security software. ti turns out somehow the system temp
variable points to a drive that was not available. fixed that and map drive
problem went away.

the add users problem however still persist. unfortunately no relevant
restore point avail. OS I guess I probably would have to try repair.
right?

it turns out to be another problem, the system temp variable was pointing to
wrong place - no .access
