map network drive wizard no response

Hi,

When i try to map network drives from windows explorer tool->map network
drive, there is no response recd. the wizard is not coming.

but using command line i can map network drives.

help me to get the wizard work properly

Hi RANG,

Verify if the file netplwiz.dll is available in the Windows\System32 folder.
If the file does not exist, post back.

yes the file is available and i try to unregister and register the dll also,
but no result

Perhaps running "SFC /SCANNOW" can restore missing modules (if any).

FYI, I could repro the problem by deleting the netplwiz.dll (in my test
systems).

thanks ramesh, i'll try to repair of sfc the os and let u know

i got this below help from internet for my problem, but i dont know how to
add the component, pls help

Try adding the following
component, it did the job for me.

Software : System : System Services : Base : Primitive:
MPRUI
