I recently hooked up my xm satellite radio through my pc
to play on the sub - Is there a was to capture the songs
and turn them into mp3 , wav , or wma while it is playing
on the computer.

G'day Will, mate,whats this XM sat. radio I have never
heard of them.Is normal radio??. I'm in australia ,where
are you?OH by the way plugin to, line in, and use the
recording software that comes with the "sound blaster"
sound cards.I did this when I was recording some rare
audio tapes off my tape player(same process).It puts them
to wav. files then you can do whatever to them after
that. :)

If it is running into the line-in jack, then you can use an audio recording
application, such as Audacity to capture the audio. You can also use
Audacity to trim the bits you don't want. Audacity is free at
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
