X-fi, is it worth the expense?

What EQ and settings do you guys have it set to? perhaps i havent tinkered with them enough.
well i played a movie (the Good, the Bad and the Ugly) and it does sound better than on a tv - cleaner too
is it advisable to have the crystalizer on during games?

Well, Media center 5 is a bitter little program aint it?
Not only did it make itself the sole media player, it muted all my other media playing apps and when i unistalled it, Windows Media player wasnt able to play Windows media files... got that problem fixed by setting it as the preffered app. But still i kinda like the first Media center, what a shame.

Well i listen to a friends pair of headphones ( Sennhieser PC 151) , and i now see what all the fuss is about! The X-fi really show what it can do.
So as a result i plan on getting the Sennhieser HD 280 Pro, a little expesive, but if my friends sound as good as they did. I hope these sound even better! :D

Thats it mate, the sound quality is only as good as the weakest part. ;)

a good set of speakers there

i noticed a different when using a fiber optic cable

dont know much abt this x-fi but it sounds good
