X Box & Wireless Card setup?

A friends has bought an X box 360 with a wireless card.

How is the best way to set up the wireless card?
They know the IP address of their BT Hub but can not set it up.
The x box came up with an ip address which they assume is for the bt hub?
They have tried to calclate the subnet mask and the default gateway, which the xbox has asked me for and its said that the DCHP is probably not configured on the homehub to assign an ip address to the wireless card .

Any help on this would be really great guys.

BT Home hub and xbox live is a PIA to get working by all accounts. I set up a mates 360 but not with the hub. The IP that the 360 shows is the 360's IP iirc.

Im looking for a wireless card or ethernet bridge for the original xbox!
