wrong icon displayed on cd-roms from "my computer"

I updated a demo version of an old tombraider game to include an icon, using
visual studio .net to add the icon. That worked OK, but no when I insert
cd-roms into my drive, I see the tombraider icon instead of the icon I should
be seeing from the cd-rom. It's only affecting some cd-roms, and I've zipped
and deleted the updated tombraider file, so I can't figure out where the icon
data is coming from to cause this bug. It's just a visual nuisance, but I'm
puzzled as to where the icon data is being retrieved from.

More info, on the cd / dvd-roms that show the Tomb Raider 4 icon, the
autorun.inf uses autorun.exe for the icon:

icon="autorun.exe".

The icon appears corrrect on the autorun.exe file on the cd/dvd-rom, but on
my compuer the icon is the wrong one. I don't have any "autorun.exe's" on my
system, nor do I have the tome raider 4 icon. So i'm really puzzled as to
where it's getting this icon data from.
