Wrong application of Policy user vs computer configuration

I deploy a patch from MS using GPO; the famous KB835732
using the user configuration.
I noticed that whenever a user login he is applying the
policy again and again. :roll:
Where is the best to apply this kind of path and updates
computer or user?

If this is suppose to be apply in computer? and I want to
change it, Is there any harm if I will do it by just
changing it? I mean from user to computer configuration..
I apply in domain level so dont want to srew my
1000computer objects.Please advise

Hi,

Generally, the security patches should be ASSIGNED to computer
configuration rather than User configuration.
When the workstations are getting restarted, the policy will get installed
automatically.

When you want the application should be available to the specific users
assign it to user configuration.

For more information on Group policy look at
