WRITING TO cd-rw discs.

A new problem has occurred with my PC. I cannot write to CD-RW discs. I can
use CD-R discs and can burn discs. I need to back up large text files to CD
and then edit them so the CD-RW facility is useful. This is a relatively
new problem. I have windows XP professional. Can anyone suggest what I
might have done to cause this problem?

1) You should post in the Windows XP groups and not the Windows 2000
groups.
2) Are you using third party software, or the built in ability of XP?

Report in the XP groups and you'll get the answer.
