write to cdr

When using Explorer to copy files to a new cdr I get a message that the
files are "waiting to be written". I could not figure out how to get it to
go on and write them out at that time. By ejecting the cd I got a dialog
that offered "write now" so I put closed the cd door and clicked ok. Is
there a better way to do this? These are regular spreadsheet files and
after they get written the cd will be mailed off.

Thanks

From the below link:

# right-click on the drive’s icon and take Write files to CD; or,
# open a window on the drive and take Write Files to CD in the Folder
actions to be seen in the bar on the left of the window.

[That's the common tasks window]
