Wrapping Bullet Text Around Photos

K

KEVIN THOMPSON

I would like to be able to insert a photo in the lower-right corner of a slide containing bulleted text. Problem is, the text does not wrap around the text, it does what it is supposed to do, and that is to go under the photo. In Word, you're able to change the wrapping options so that text flows around the photo.

Any solutions for this problem? Thanks all!

To clarify, I'm using PowerPoint 2002/XP.
Thanks.

Hi Kevin,

PowerPoint is "only" a presentation program (though a very powerful one),
not a word processor. So I'm afraid you have to do this "wrapping" manually
by starting a new line with Shift+Return. I don't know of any built-in
feature.

Kind regards,
Ute

Hello Kevin,

Word-wrap is not an option/feature of PowerPoint (yet - we always have hope for the versions). At this time you will need to manually adjust your text - using soft returns (shift-enter) and the space bar.

Hello,

PowerPoint does not have the specific capability that you are looking for,

If you (or anyone else reading this message) think that PowerPoint should
either provide support for wrapping text (around, within), or objects
inline with text, don't forget to send your feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS,
please) to Microsoft at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions)
