wpd to rft or doc

Is there freeware that can take about a hundred files in wpd format and convert
them to some other, like doc or rft? I used Word Perfect at one time, but Open
Office doesn't read them (I wish they would get on this problem)?
I can't think of a way to make a batch file that will do this task, even if I
have a WP that will convert.

They won't get on this problem, but salvation is near: you can convert them
to SO/OO.org files with the StarOffice Demo.
Not freeware, I know, but the only way I know of.
Or you can use your version of WordPerfect to save them as *.doc or *.rtf
files.

Write a wp macro to convert one. Then choose repeat next action to
repeat the macro the number of times you need to. Or ask how to write
the macro in the wordperfect newsgroup on cnews.corel.com.
