If you going to run WoW Your going to need a min of 2 gigs to have it run
smooth .The 512 you have isnt enough to tame the beast of the Os your
running

He has 2gigs. Card has 512mb

What's your FPS? Vista sucks for WoW. Its playable, but get 10+fps
less then XP. I'd try a different driver. What driver is installed?
Make sure you disable any running programs and disable some services.

You need the latest drivers... however, I'm not sure what the deal is with
the geforce go series... From my understanding of complaints, the maker
supplies the drivers for it, not nvidia. Maybe try the latest nvidia
drivers? 159.xx was the last i think :)

I hope that helps.

Every NVIDIA graphics chips run slower on Vista. This problem is officially
noted by Nvidia.
Nearly 20~40% performance drop. The only workaround is to use XP.

But this isn't your problem. Just try update driver.

Having a similar problem with Oblivion, some of the guys at VRG suggested
increasing your Paging File (Swap File) size to 1.5 times the amount of ram
you have, so in your case you want a 3.1Gig Swap file.

I haven't tried, but ya never know.

FYI, 1Gig ram is all you need for WoW. Not sure what accessory business
"Rage Gaming Systems" is trying to drum up, but that notebook shouldn't have
too many problems with WoW.

If you really care about gaming, try downgrading to Windows XP for a couple
years, otherwise.... well lets just say expect the unexpected. :)

p.s. does that "Laptop" fit on your "Lap" or does it melt through the floor
on its way to the center of the earth? Battery Life?

An ever on-giong issue that I wish somebody would resolve eventually. Its
only been months now haha. But yes, Nvidia chipset/vista/wow just simply do
not get along and as soon as whoever gets past there agenda, maybe they will
get it fixed. I keep a seperate XP drive simply for wow gaming...its going to
be awhile longer I imagine before this gets resolved.
