LOL it's entirely upto u. However after all the discussions recently about ATI cards lately I thought it would have been a good hint not to buy one

But hey its your money. And I guess I am being a little Biased against them after I have never had any problems with my Nvidia cards EVER!

i probably dont drastically need a new card, but i gotta birthday soon(ish) and,of course, want the lastest and greatest

hmm well ati are readying the r580+ - a faster x1900xtx I believe, and at the same time are in the process of making the r600 - the 'next generation' card

nvidia are challenging this with the g80 - their next gen card
