"worse to visit" pop-up

When I try to open certain websites (such as my excite home page), I get a pop-up that says "worse to visit". It's URL is about-blank.ws

Many other sites are also unable to be opened, and the same message/pop-up come up

Download and run the "CWShredder":

Close all open Windows and running programs, unzip the tool, click on the
executable and follow the prompts.
