This mail is spam and does not come from MS. Remove the mail and scan
your system for viruses and other malware, since such mail often
contains mailcious software. See "List of Antivirus Software Vendors"
(http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=49500) and download and use
Ad-aware (http://www.lavasoft.com).
To avoid being infected while reading mail and to remove spam from
your mailbox you could download and install MailWasher
(http://www.mailwasher.net).

Mailwasher is not only a piece of shit, they're thieves. Safe hex is the
only way to sort out email. I doubt very seriously that the bogus email
pretending to be from MS had any viruses embedded in the message. If it came
with an attachment and the OP opened the attachment, you would have a point.

You have made a statement about MailWasher and back it up with exactly ZERO
information. Care to enlighten the world as to why they are thieves? That is
a pretty strong statement to claim without you substantiating it!

PA is basically a unsubstantiated claim that its customers are thieves.
Don't remember you bitchin' about MS doing it.

I paid 20 US dollars for that program. I reinstalled my OS and tried to
reinstall mailwasher. They wanted another 20 bucks. What would you call
that?

Did you not save your registration information. I have reinstalled
MailWasher a few times without any difficulty. I just copy the information
after opening the registration text file and then paste it in where
required. On my computer the file is called "mailwasher pro
registration.txt". Look for something similar on your computer.

So, NO. I would not call that being a thief.

Yes, I saved it and when I went to use it, I was asked for the money. I
don't care what you call it. I call it stealing.

Bovine Scatology. You don't know what you are talking about. If you
think MailWasher is that then you obviously don't know how to configure
and run such a simple piece of software that from my experience once
configured is 95% accurate with no false positives. Perhaps you should
go back to snail mail.

Perhaps he is a spammer that is irritated with MailWasher due to its
effectiveness.

I'd say that's a load of bull. It cost me $15 and as long as you have
the reg key that was sent to you you can uninstall it and re-install it
as often as you like. If you have lost your reg key then Firetrust can
issue you another one as long as they have proof you purchased it in
the first place such as your email address etc. that you gave them on
purchase.

It will also be in the mail they send when you purchase it.

Well if the program is doing something it shouldn't do or even cannot
do did you contact Firetrust about it? You do have to input the
correct name you registered it under followed by the reg key.
