Worm that uses multiple virtual network adapters?

I seem to have a virus which is sending out emails. I would have
never known this if it weren't for my ISP blocking all email (even
good ones) from going out on my IP address.

My computer (Windows 2003) has one network adapter, and it connects to
a router with a static IP address. However, when I look at my
router's status page, I see 10 clients in the DHCP table all with the
same host name. My guess is that this virus has created 10 instances
of a virtual network adapter, and is using those addresses to send
spam mail.

Has anyone ever heard of this before? I have tried several anti-virus
scans and software firewalls, but they all listen on my static IP, and
not the virtual addresses.

Anyone have any suggestions?
