Worm in my mailbox

Today I found a worm in my mailbox. I slammed the box shut so the
worm could not leave, and immediately phoned the Post Office. They
are investigating. Do you think this is that Netsky worm?
I wont let it out until they finish their investigation.

I use mothballs in my mailbox to help keep out spiders, I don't
know how effective that would be against worms because I don't
have much of a worm problem to test it out on.

No, Netsky is a computer worm only (so far).

I wont let it out until they finish their investigation.

Maybe you should wrap a yellow >>>QUARANTINED<<< tape
around the box to warn off the local postal carrier. You wouldn't
want to have that worm reading addresses out of his or her pouch
now would you.
