Workstation Locked after idle x time

D

David Smith

Hey all,

I have a W2K pc (not on a domain) I wish to
disable "Workstation is Locked" after being idle for so
long, without disabling the Screen Saver password.
Reason being, multiple users need the ability to logoff
the previous user without hunting down said user (or me)
or being in the Admininstrators group. I've been through
group policy and only found a setting for disabling "Lock
Computer" from CTRL+ALT+DEL, has no effect on idle lock-
out. I done extensive searching of forums, newsgroups
and MS Support. Usually the one who asks this questions
gets some snide remark about giving all users admin
rights. Without getting into details, telling them to
logoff whenever they step away is not an option, and
nothing they do is so critical that logging them off will
cause problems.

Thanks for your time,

David Smith
