[Word] Outlook/Word - STRANGE image attached to all emails
Every time I send an email from Outlook (using Word), it embeds a small GIF
and sends it as an attachment. I suspect that it is somehow embedded in my
normal.dot (perhaps from bullet point settings, not sure). The animated gif
image is of a little telescope with an eye at the end. The telescope rotates
and the eye winks.
I have tried sending emails from a few different email accounts that I use
with Outlook - each one uses its own signature (and some use no signature),
but each still attaches "image001.gif" (8KB)
How can I remove this image so that it doesn't wind up in every email that I
compose?
