I no longer am able to select Word, part of my XP Office Pro suite, as my
HTML editor when I select Tools/Internet Options/Programs in Internet
Explorer 6. My only selections are Excel & notepad. What happened to Word
and how can I get it back?

Try running detect and repair - it's on the help menu.

Hello Diane,

Thank you for your time & consideration regarding my problem. I did run
detect & repair in Outlook 2002 and it did not put Word back into the program
selection in Internet Explorer 6 - Tools/Interntet Options/Programs/HTML
Editor. My only options are still Excel & notepad. Any other suggestions?
