How to Change Signature Editor

Outlook 2002. When trying to edit an e-mail signature in 'advanced edit' it
opens in Notepad instead of Word - Word is checked as the e-mail editor, I
went to the registered files and changed anything set to open in Notepad to
open in Word, I went to explorer under tools, internet options, programs and
under HTML editor I have only 2 choices Excel or Notepad - I changed that to
Excel to see what would happen and it still opens in Notepad. What do I do???

Open IE....

Click on the "Tools" menu....

Click on the "Internet Options" menu item....

Click on the "Programs" tab......

Set the "HTML Editor" dropdown to "Microsoft Word".

Outlook will now use Word to edit signatures in the advanced mode....
